Did You Know....
There are over 100,000 people, the size of a small city, on the transplant list in the US.
There were less than 10,000 deceased organ donors in the US last year. (that's a ratio of 1 organ donor to every 10 transplant patients).
In the time it takes you to shower today, 1 new name is added to the US transplant waiting list.
From the time you woke up this morning to the time you wake up tomorrow morning, 18 people will die waiting for their transplant in the US.

I check up on y'all every other day or so - wordless is how I felt as I lifted y'all in prayer - and the tears rolled down my face for your sweet boy and the fierce mama's heart I know you have for your son. Dear Lord, please bring comfort...
ReplyDeleteSarah....I still want to hug you...hard. I am going to be getting something for you to SungJa....it reminds me of you and the strength you have.
ReplyDeleteMy heart breaks for you. I can't even imagine how you feel. I can only hope some of the meds can relieve his suffering. ♥ ♥ ♥
ReplyDeleteI don't know you but I check your blog every day to read how you and Conner. I have a 7 year old son also and I can't begin to imagine how hard this must be for you all as a family. I admire your strength and dignity for yourself and Conner and my thoughts are with you all. As someone else has already said, all I hope is that the pain medication is kicking in and Conner's pain has eased. Stay strong, sending big hugs to you all as a family from Scotland.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, there are no words.....Praying for strength for you and your family, and praying for peace for Connor.
